BOE STATEMENT
President Beth Cosentino spoke on behalf of the SEPAC SOMA Executive Board at the May 9th SOMSD Board of Education meeting about the impact staff reductions will have on students’ success:
“The choices have been made and some of them will work against students’ success. However, I urge you, the SEPAC SOMA executive board urges you, to listen to the teachers and the students and the families and work with us to help those students, bring them to the forefront of your minds and efforts. Make a commitment to those students whose success is now at risk.”
