Announcement: SEPAC SOMA Executive Board Changes
January 16, 2024
One of our executive board members, Will Meyer, had to step down recently, but for an amazing reason … he was sworn in as an SOMSD Board of Education Member for a three-year term. We are thrilled to have such a knowledgeable Special Education advocate on the BOE!
It has been an honor to be a member of SEPAC for the past year as Vice President of Policy Initiatives, alongside so many hard-working and devoted parent volunteers. I look forward to continuing this important work for special education families in the district from the other side of the horseshoe. I am pleased to be serving as chair of the Policy Committee and as a member of the Special Services Committee, and I look forward to collaborating closely with SEPAC on policies and new initiatives to best serve all our students.
Will Meyer

We’re equally happy to announce that Susan Nasberg-Abrams has joined the team as our new VP of Policy Initiatives. Susan is the founder of the SOMA Learning Disabilities Parent Support Group and is passionate about equity for disability awareness in education.
Please join us in thanking Will for his work with SEPAC SOMA, wishing him well in his new role, and welcoming Susan to our executive board!
